PHILIPS 17TG100U |
|
NOTES | I'm fairly certain that this model is the first from Philips that utilised a 110-dgree C.R.T. |
---|---|
SERVICE DATA | The set is covered by Trader service sheet #1460. |
CURRENT STATE | Was covered
in years of grime but polished up OK. Despite it having lived in a garage,
I couldn't beleive just how clean the chassis was, it is immaculate - check
out the line output stage on the right! It can't have seen a lot of use,
and given that all three top cap connectors had been unplugged from their
valves I suspect the set was retired with line output problems. However the set has run long enough to burn out part of one of its resistor droppers which is bridged by a trusty old RS Components part. |
WHERE FOUND |
Recused from on open garage and subsequently donated by Simon. |
