NOTES An up-market set with lockable front doors to keep the kiddies out.

By this time it seems that Dynatron utilised chassis designed by Ekco with but a few slight modifications. One obvious modification seems to be the use of a painted steel frame to which the main chassis and CRT are mounted. This allows the entire guts of the set to be removed as one piece making servicing far easier than in the Ekco designs.

Apparently additional minor circuit modifications would be made too although I don't have the data to confirm this.
SERVICE DATA See Ekco TGC316.
CURRENT STATE Very dusty looking chassis. However the only damage is the top of the cabinet (as always happens) plus a sheared width control knob.
WHERE FOUND Auction at the BVWS December 2003 Wotton Bassett bash for £5.

TCG316Man.zip [816KB] Ekco TCG316 service data - looks very similar to the Dynatron's chassis.

Chassis View [34K]
The chassis and C.R.T. are all mounted in a blue/green
motle painted metal frame allowing the entire
innards to be removed together.
