TELEQUIPMENT D31

Next : Solatron CD1183
Front view [28K]
  • Released 1960
  • 11 Valves
  • Dual trace 3" green screen CRT with ?kV EHT
  • ~5 MHz Bandwidth.
  • Original cost unknown.
NOTES This was the second oscilloscope in Telequipment's "Serviscope" range, released two years after the single-trace S31. Aimed at basic servicing where 100mV/cm sensitivity and a 1uS/cm timebase are sufficient, the only feature is the inclusion of TV video sync triggering.
SERVICE DATA You can download a copy of the manual plus a number of the plug-in units from the service data page.
CURRENT STATE In reasonably good condition. If I could get past all the junk in the workshop I'd have tried switching it on.
WHERE FOUND Another donation from Allan.

Chassis View [40K]
Some signs of previous work - the yellow caps probably aren't original,
plus the off replacement electrolytic, but it all seems sensibly done.
Chassis View [25K]
Note the octal rectifier valve (upper-left), a bit of a
suprise to find in such a relatively modern scope.
