NOTES |
An absolutely nothing special run-of-the-mill set. But the tuning dial, dials and push buttons look identical to the setup on a radiogram my parents bought new at a radio exhibition in the 50's. The radiogram, that in the 70's lived in my bedroom(!), was a beautiful polished sturdy wooden cabinet ... unlike this flimsy cheapo wooden table radio. The earliest radio comedy recordings I have were taken from the radiogram to which I'd bodged some wires into a cassette recorder ... the miricle being I neither electrocuted myself or blew up the tape recorder in the process ! |

SERVICE DATA |
I have an electronic copy of the Trader service sheet #1383. |
CURRENT STATE |
I've seen worse, the only major disfigurment being on the top of the set where the finish has suffered water damage. |
WHERE FOUND |
£10 off mate Richard who thought it didn't quite fit in with his collection of 30's woodies. |
