MULLARD OUTLOOK
Volume 1 Number 10 : July 1951

"As indicated in one of the articles in this issue, a very high degree of purity in the material used for cathode ray tube screens is essential if good performance, and uniformity of colour within the standard tolerances is to be maintained. Constant checks and critical tests on the screen material are conducted in the Mullard Material Research Laboratory.
Our front cover shows a micro-analyst removing a small quantity of the screen material from a picture tube which has already been processed, so that it may be submitted for analysis."
