The Derwent name tends to turn up on Radios, the brand is mentioned here simply for completeness. They seem to have manufactured at least one C.R.T. based product in the early 1950's, possibly a unit for use with relayed television, such as might be found in a communial television system in a block of flats.

Chassis View [19K] Front View [11K]

Note the absence of an R.F. section in the chassis view. Also note the mains transformer which,
given the period of teh set, also suggest the model didn't use the kind of number of valves that
would have been required if and R.F. section were present.

The rear cover of the set caries the name "Central Equipment Ltd." or similar.
