Next : Marconi TF114

Front view [36K]

  • Late 50's, early 60's ?
  • Is it valve ? Or is it transistor?.
  • Original cost unknown
NOTES This signal generator covers 150KHz to 220MHz in six ranges, which just about covers from the later 30's superhet I.F.'s all the way up to the late 50's Band III T.V. transmissions.
SERVICE
DATA
Nope.
CURRENT
STATE
Physically good condition. Must be working ... as it said so in the auction catalogue :-) Note the three surplus holes around the R.F. output connector, these suggest the connector is not the original.
WHERE
FOUND
BVWS March 2003 Harpenden auction for £14.

Rear View [11K]
The valve(s) and tuning coils are hidden in the round
can. This should be a screw fit but clearly isn't too robust
as it has been necessary to solder the join at one point.
