HMV1370 |
|
NOTES | A "Me too" set from His Masters Voice. The styling is similar
to many other sets of the type from other manufacturers and relased about
that time. But to my eyes the lack of detailing in the speaker cloth area
tends to make this set look a little bland ; compare it with the Bush
VHF61. This set is AC/DC. However, it is very similar to the HMV model 1134, which includes a tuning indicator and uses the 'E' range of valves. |

SERVICE DATA |
There was a copy of the service data from one of the Radio and Television Servicing books on CD#3. Note : The trader service sheet #1299, which covers a Ferguson badged model, is supposed to cover this set. However the valve lineup and power supply are different. |
CURRENT STATE |
The case and cloth is pretty good, but the chassis is amazing ! It makes me wonder whether the set was ever used, even the wax capactitors look perfect. There aren't many of these caps, the majority of the others being of the 'orrible 'unts types which I'll probably replace. |
